Service Description

The Elite Journey Public Speaking Course is a 10-day, online programme. It is aimed at equipping students with the fundamental skills of public speaking, helping them to become exceptional communicators and inspiring leaders of the future. Students are mentored by Dou Dou, an educator focused on life skills education, as well as a professional life coach for young professionals and parents. Dou Dou graduated MIT with a double degree in mechanical engineering and management, going on to be a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. As a youth English public speaking coach, Dou Dou has won several public speaking awards for guiding more than 180 students around the world in English speech, with rich experience in curriculum development and teaching. The aim of this course is to help our students to lay a solid and practical foundation in public speaking, to quickly enhance their oral expression, critical thinking ability, persuasive skills, and international competitiveness. Public speaking is a skill that is sought after all over the world. From studying abroad, job interviews, academic presentations, to cross-cultural learning exchanges, public speaking is a must-have skill to help students to confidently knock of the door of the international stage. In this course, our classes are shared between English-speaking Chinese students and international students, increasing the opportunity for cultural exchange. Let the world hear your voice. Public speaking is also one of the most effective ways to help you break through your comfort zone and improve your thinking flexibility, social skills, and confidence. Our course cultivates these skills to increase our students’ leadership potential. In this course, students will receive international cutting-edge content, personalised coaching, and a classroom where practise drills come first. Your mentor will use these methods to deliver a diverse syllabus including Crafting an Idea, Effective Body Language, Telling a Personal Story, and Overcoming Fear.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and refund policy If you cancel the course booking within 7 calendar days of receiving your order confirmation and before the start of the course without giving any reason, you are entitled to a full refund of the price paid. Cancellations and refunds in circumstances outside those described above, and/or following the expiry of the 7-day cancellation period, are subject to the terms and conditions set out in this Cancellation and Refund policy. For the avoidance of doubt, the cancellation period will expire 7 days after the date of the Order Confirmation. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of this reimbursement. If you start to use our services during the cancellation period (i.e. if the course commences during the 7-day cancellation period) and/or if you access the course materials via our online course spaces (i.e. via our virtual learning environment), no refund will be payable. Cancellation by Elite Journey Whilst every effort is made to avoid changes to our program Elite Journey reserves the right to withdraw or cancel any course. If for any reason we cancel a course, all course fees will be returned in full. Covid-19 Policy Elite Journey recognises the importance of advanced planning in order to maintain services and limit the spread of the new coronavirus, known as Covid-19, within our setting. If our services are affected by the Covid-19 and we are unable to teach in person, we will deliver the courses online. We will endeavour to inform you of any changes related to Covid-19 regulations with as much notice as possible. before the start of your courses. You will not be eligible for a refund if we deliver our services online rather than in person due to Covid-19.
