Q1 How much does the programme cost, what is included, and what additional costs should families expect?

The programme fee is £1,600 per participant. From the first briefing to lifelong alumni membership, almost everything is covered.

Before You Go

• A pre-departure student handbook with everything you need to prepare

• A live online pre-departure webinar to meet the team and ask questions

• Travel health and vaccination advice

• Visa support if entry rules change

• Introductions to other UK students on similar flights, so no one travels alone unless they want to

Arrival and Welcome

• Airport pick-up and transfers, with our team waiting in arrivals

• Your Elite Journey camp kit: including a lanyard, 3 branded T-shirts, and a few surprise extra's

• An orientation tour of central Guangzhou

• Guangzhou by night, including the Canton Tower lit up over the city

• A welcome dinner at an authentic Chinese restaurant

• All local and inter-city transport, as you travel from Guangzhou to Shenzhen and Hong Kong

Safety and Care

• 24/7 security and access to emergency healthcare

• Full board throughout, with a four-star hotel before camp and school boarding during it. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening snacks are all included.

• A dedicated UK Student Director looking after UK students from arrival to departure

• Supervision and guidance from Oxford and Cambridge mentors

• Classes and activities led by Oxbridge mentors

• Full integration into lessons alongside Chinese students, supported by bilingual teaching assistants

• University application and interview workshops, with practice interviews with Oxbridge graduates

• Science and AI in action: debates, VR, drone technology and cutting-edge laboratory sessions

Exploring and Experiencing

• Behind-the-scenes visits to the companies shaping the future, including BYD (electric vehicles), CAS Space (rockets), DJI (drones) and XPENG (robot cars)

• Hong Kong visits to the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Legislative Council and the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy

• Cultural exchange through calligraphy, Chinese history and daily Mandarin with native speakers

Q2 What deposit is required to secure a place, and when is the remaining balance due?

A non-refundable £500 deposit is required to secure a place following a successful application. Families will receive clear payment timelines and instructions once their application is successful.

Q3 What is the cancellation and refund policy?

The full cancellation and refund policy will be set out in detail in the formal Contract and Terms and Conditions.In general, refunds are based on the date of receipt of the cancellation notice (detailed below). Parents and guardians will receive the full terms and conditions before making any payment, and are encouraged to review them carefully.

No refund is provided for non-attendance, late arrival, or leaving the programme early, including dismissal for breach of the code of conduct.

If we cancel the programme, you will receive a full refund of all payments, including the deposit.

​

If a participant's visa is refused despite a complete and timely application, we will refund all payments except the £500 deposit, regardless of the cancellation date, on receipt of the official refusal letter.

​

Refunds are calculated on the fees you have actually paid at the time of cancellation, based on how much notice you give:

• 90 days or more before the camp starts: 100% refund

• 60–89 days before: 50% refund

• 30–59 days before: 25% refund

• Fewer than 30 days before: no refund

Refunds are paid within 30 days of us confirming the cancellation and receiving your bank details.
